Thanksgiving 2018
Somehow it went from summer to Thanksgiving and I have no idea how that happened. Things have been busy, in the best of ways and I am thankful for that. My website and practice is taking off and it’s hard to believe that I have been able to create such a fun/sassy/educational space for people to learn about nutrition.
I love nutrition because it is something that is important to everyone whether they know it or not. I love that nutrition can make someone feel better and help them reach their goals. I myself have been fortunate enough to not only see others gain health through nutrition changes but also myself.
Anywho, that’s neither here nor there. I wanted to take the time today to say what I’m so thankful for this year. While there are a lot of things I could be (and am) thankful for, I want to keep this short and sweet and hope you realize how amazing you all are.
I’m Thankful For
You. That’s right, I am so thankful for YOU. It may be sappy or emo but it’s the truth. I used to think no one read my posts or cared about my posts. However, I know there are so many of you sleeper followers out there and I am thankful for you and your support.
Sleeper follower? Yes, that’s you, the one that reads my posts, makes my recipes, saves my content and yet says NOTHING. I know you’re out there because you tell me in person, via Instagram message or via the page views I can see behind the scenes.
You all mean the world to me and make me want to keep up this little piece of the internet. Please feel free to reach out, comment on my posts, share a story, ask a question, etc. I love knowing you’re out there and love hearing your stories of success!
Thanksgiving Challenge: Give Yourself Thanks
That all being said. I think you’re worth it. Too often we put ourselves down, we say negative things about ourselves and we give ourselves zero credit, myself included.
This Thanksgiving, it would be wonderful if you thanked yourself. Thank yourself for being strong, smart, sexy, beautiful, fun, loving, caring, SASSY, and the list goes on. If someone tries to stop you, don’t let them. You are the best and I’m here to remind you of that. Give thanks to yourself this holiday, and have no shame about it, okay?!
Okay, that’s enough for today. Do yourself a favor, turn off your technology & enjoy time with family & friends.
On that note, I am also thankful to my family & friends who support me, make fun of me, laugh with me, cry with me, and let me be Sassy. Happy Thanksgiving friends and continue to enjoy #noshamenovember2018
What are you thankful for this year?! I want to hear! Share below.
Xoxo,
Sassy
