Since I decided to giveaway an Instant Pot to celebrate the re-launch of my website, I figured I’d give you some recipes to help you use your Instant Pot. If you were the winner, CONGRATS! If you weren’t you can always snag your Instant Pot (affiliate link) here and treat yo’self.
I would never promote something I myself don’t use/love and the Instant Pot is no different. They don’t pay me to promote it but man do I promote the heck out of it. I just love how easy it is to use, clean, and make recipes FAST. Not to mention, not only are the recipes made quickly, they also taste amazing. Even something as simple as hard boiled eggs are easier to peel and taste pretty dang good from the Instant Pot.
I posted about the Instant Pot 101 awhile back when I realized I had been talking about it non-stop and should probably tell you what it was all about. However, there are so many tips and tricks I’ve learned since that I figured I’d share with you so that if you do have one or choose to get one you have all the tips/tricks you need to succeed.
Tip #1 When quick releasing the pressure put a towel over the vent. That way you don’t ruin your cabinets and the steam doesn’t go EVERYWHERE..
Tip #2 Buy a second insert so you can go from making one recipe right into the next without having to clean up right away.
Tip #3 Buy some accessories so you can make some extra fun recipes like the sous vide egg cups.
Tip #4 Always make sure you have some liquid–even if it’s 1/4 cup to ensure the pot seals.
Tip #5 Take a slow cooker recipe and use it in the Instant Pot–google the time needed to cook something similar in the Instant Pot 🙂
While I have plenty of my own recipes, like the Mongolian Beef and the Apple Butter, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite Instant Pot Recipes from other food bloggers so you can see that the possibilities are endless as it comes to your Instant Pot.
