Description

Starbuck’s came out with their new shaken espressos and they are so delicious but also really easy to make at home. Skip the line (and the $$$) and make this at home.

Ingredients

Scale

Brown Sugar Syrup

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup water

Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

2 shots or 2 oz. espresso or strongly brewed coffee

2 teaspoons brown sugar syrup

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of cinnamon

1 cup ice cubes

1/2 cup oatmilk (or milk of choice)

Instructions

Brown Sugar Syrup

In a medium sauce pan over medium high heat, whisk together brown sugar and water.

Bring to a boil, turn heat to medium and simmer for 3 minutes, whisking frequently.

Remove from heat and allow to cool, use immediately or store in a 1-cup glass airtight container.

Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Brew coffee or espresso (can be hot or cold)

In a mug or glass, mix together coffee, brown sugar syrup, vanilla & cinnamon

In a 2-cup glass jar, add ice and pour coffee mixture over. Cover glass jar with a lid and shake for 10 seconds.

Pour oatmilk over coffee, add more ice if desired & enjoy!

Notes

Short on time? Just add 1-2 tsp brown sugar directly to your coffee and stir to combine.
