Homemade Roasted Red Pepper


  • 4 large red bell peppers


  1. Set oven to Broil (on High) and make sure oven rack is at highest setting possible
  2. Place peppers on rack or on a baking or roasting sheet and broil for 8-12 minutes, turning every 2 minutes
  3. Once outsides are wilted and charred, remove peppers from oven and place in a covered bowl (with foil or towel) and allow to cool for 10+ minutes
  4. Remove from bowl, peel off wilted skin and slice into desired size
  5. Store in airtight container in refrigerator
