Goat Cheese & Roasted Red Pepper Turkey Burgers

  • Yield: 4 burger patties 1x


  • 1 Tbsp ghee or butter
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 oz. goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup arugula, diced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. In a medium bowl, combine turkey, goat cheese, peppers, arugula & spices with hands. Form into 4 patties, cover and put in fridge for 10 minutes. (This is optional but will help patties stay together better)
  3. Melt ghee/butter in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place turkey patties in skillet and cook for 3 minutes, flip and then place in oven (middle rack) for 10-12 minutes or until burgers are cooked through (done when internal temp reaches 165°F)
