- 1 Tbsp ghee or butter
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 oz. goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup arugula, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- In a medium bowl, combine turkey, goat cheese, peppers, arugula & spices with hands. Form into 4 patties, cover and put in fridge for 10 minutes. (This is optional but will help patties stay together better)
- Melt ghee/butter in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place turkey patties in skillet and cook for 3 minutes, flip and then place in oven (middle rack) for 10-12 minutes or until burgers are cooked through (done when internal temp reaches 165°F)
