Maple Cinnamon Coconut Chips
Hello! Every time I say hello I want to start singing Adele at the top of my lungs, anyone with me?
That would be kind of hard to do right now, one because, well I am not a good singer and two because I lost my voice after coming down with a cold from last week’s events. I know you thought I was on Adele’s level and all but I hate to break it to you, I talk food, nutrition and fitness, and I will gladly present it to you in song form but my guess is your ears will not like it too much. So, I will stick to what I am good at, providing you with tasty recipes to satisfy the senses that I can satisfy, your taste and smell.
Whoa, back up, what did you say about last week’s events? Nothing! That’s right, I’ve been M.I.A. over the past week or so and have been very cryptic about what has been going on. I shared a little over on instagram if you happen to follow along. It’s not that I do not want to share it with all you lovely people it is just that I have ALOT going on and I do not want to skimp on the details of it all. There will be a post this week with more detail, have no fear. Just know I started a new job at a company that will most likely change the future of our healthcare, or at least that is how I feel and I am so excited that I get to be a part of it. They are a “food first” company and I did not get weird looks or scowls when I showed up with canned fish for lunch. Not to mention their was a bowl of avocados every day. Say goodbye to the office candy jar and replace it with real food!
Okay, enough about that, I will fill you in on the rest later. For today, I am bringing back an older recipe that I released on a different website. These coconut chips received a quick facelift and are a satisfying and delicious snack. Like I said last week I look for snacks that are easy to transport and keep me satisfied while traveling. While there are brands like this i LOVE, sometimes a homemade snack is good too. These coconut chips are delicious and really allow you to feel like you are eating something decadent, enjoy and feel free to add your own flavors! Let me know if you make them, head over to Instagram or Snap chat (@TheSassyRD), some of my favorite social media channels and share them with me!
Now for the star of the day, Maple Cinnamon Coconut Chips…
Alright, I will fill you in on my latest happenings tomorrow but for today enjoy this simple and tasty recipe. Stay tuned on Friday as well for a Guest Blog post and recipe!
