- 6 Tbsp butter or ghee
- 2/3 c. coconut sugar
- 4 oz. 100% dark chocolate, cut into chunks
- 1 Tbsp. 100% cocoa powder
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2–3 Tbsp arrowroot powder
- 1 Tbsp. brewed coffee, optional
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease an 8″x8″ baking dish with ghee/butter/coconut oil.
- Melt butter/ghee coconut sugar and 4 oz. chocolate in a small sauce pan over medium heat, stirring frequently (watch carefully so it does not burn), remove from heat to cool for ~3 minutes
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, arrowroot powder and brewed coffee
- Add melted chocolate to mixing bowl and whisk together until smooth
- Stir in chocolate chips and scoop into baking dish.
- Place in oven for 20-25 minutes until center is cooked through
